Moving In

The day finally came when our house was done and ready to move into.  We moved in on August 9th and officially became Eagle Mountain residents.  Here are some pictures of the house after we've unpacked and settled in (for the most part).

We live on the golf course.  It's kind of a cool view but it has it's down sides for sure.  We haven't had any broken windows but we know plenty of people who have.  We do find lots of golf balls in the yard though.

Our neighborhood has a pool and playground but the kids spend most of their time playing in the huge holes dug out for future basements.

 We do love the pool though.

Waiting in an empty house for the internet to turn on was not the funnest with 6 kids.

So far being a homeowner has been pretty fun, except for the occasional snake we find in the basement...

 ...the several black widows we've found, and the rumors of tarantulas roaming the neighborhood.

I've also noticed we spend lots of Saturdays at Lowe's and Ikea.
