Celeste's Wedding

Celeste Knowles got married to Austie in Cedar City on April 26th and we went down for the weekend.  We were excited to see all the Knowles family and take a family vacation.  We went down early and spent one night in St. George and then one night in Cedar City.  The kids were so excited to swim in the hotel pool and sleep in hotel beds.

They had a 'kids' table at the reception and the boys were here pretty much the whole time.

Easter Morning

Easter Sunday has always been the day I get to play "dolls" with my kids and they have to be okay with it and cooperate.  I dress them up in clothes (sometimes new) that I've planned out for them for a couple weeks.  I spend a long time doing their hair, for the boys it's just a couple minutes but that's forever to them since we never do their hair.  Mikelle usually has to endure curling her hair for "forever," but this year we decided to do curlers.  We kind of forgot about curlers.  She really loved them when she was little but then we moved and they got stuck on a shelf somewhere.  I did her hair up, and then for fun decided to try and see if Kenzlee would let me do her hair.  She didn't care or notice at all so I put them all through her hair and she even slept with them in fine.  Here is the 'night before' picture.

A close up of Kenzlee's curly hair and I love how they are all holding onto her here.

This is the closest she came to smiling.

It can't be a picture of Duff boys without a little crazy face making.

Spring Break

Luckily it was a nice, warm spring break.  the kids had fun taking a break from school and playing in the water.

Kenzlee was a little cold after so got wet.

Sprinklers

My daffodils are in bloom.

Matt and I took a painting class together.  We were actually part of the trial run to see how it went. Our friends (Kourtney and Brett) own the Color Me Mine store and wanted to start a painting class.  It was pretty fun.

Here is my painting.

We made it.

We were sick for a good week at least, Jonah missed almost two weeks of school; but we've made it through!  Just in time for a delightfully warm weathered spring break too!

Here are the little sickies

Grandma got Kenzlee her own markers and she tried out some coloring the other day.

We spent the first day of spring break teaching Ty how to ride a bike with no training wheels.  He has become obsessed.  He can't start or stop by himself yet, but he mastered turning and is getting pretty good at it.  He spent a lot of time falling and getting back up and I'm proud of my little guy.  He has a lot of cuts, scrapes, and bruises to show off.  At first I had to hold the bike for him to get on and give him a starting push but now Mikelle does it for him, it's pretty cute.  The kids are usually pretty good friends and play together pretty well.

We also had a dentist appointment today for all four kids.  It was Kenzlee's first time and I didn't know that I should have been flossing her teeth this whole time, she was not a fan.  Tyrel and Mikelle both have four cavities and Jonah has no cavities but he has to get four teeth pulled due to his 'shark teeth' that grew in behind his baby teeth.  Tyrel is waiting until he is five to fix his cavities.

They've been pretty cute playing outside while it's been so nice and I'm pretty excited for summer.  Kenzlee is getting easier to watch too.  She loves being outside.
