Hanging out with Grandma Jingles

Our road in the winter time.

Kenzlee loved sitting on Ardell's (Grandma Jingles) lap, especially when she could listen to music with the headphones.

Grandpa taught (or tried to teach) everyone to blow bubbles.  Mikelle got was and was pretty happy about it.

Ardell read green eggs and ham with the kids and then made some green eggs.  None of the kids wanted any.

Our 2013 Family Picture

Matt had to go to Seattle for a week for a business trip and happened to be gone over our 9th anniversary.  Since Ardell was here, she got some beautiful flowers and put some rose petals on the bathroom floor and made a nice bath for me with some lavender oil and salts.

The kids helped.

Putting up the Christmas Tree and Playing in the Snow

Jonah got to put up the star this year

Ty is wearing a red blanket/toga thing.  He insisted on wearing it.

Matt's mom, Ardell, came to visit for Christmas.

This is an ornament that my parents gave Matt and I for our first Christmas together.  We had been married about a week.

Our snowman

Matt and another Dad made a pretty cool and slightly dangerous snow slide.

School Christmas Programs 2013

Here is Ty at his Learning Dynamics Christmas Program.

Such a little cutie, singing his songs...

 ...and ringing the bells.

Of course it wouldn't be truly Ty without trying to take off his clothes and put them on his head.  He got off his vest and shoes and his teacher stopped him at his shirt.

Jonah made a gingerbread house in KE (his kindergarten enhancement class).

Even Kenzlee has the Christmas spirit.

Jonah wrote this letter to his teacher all by himself.

Here is the accompanying picture.

And Ty was pretty proud of himself for writing his teacher's name on the envelope all by himself too.

What we do in the winter time

Kenzlee out in the snow with Ty

Burying each other in the snow

It's a lovely picture of Matt and I....until you see someone buried in the snow in front of us.

Warming up after

Mikelle gave Kenzlee a tortilla and is pulling her around in this basket.  The funny thing is that when she was getting the tortilla, I told her she had to eat it all and she told me she would.  She got full and didn't want to eat it anymore so she gave it to her little sister to eat up; which she did.

Snuggling with my baby

 Tyrel did my hair

Mikelle's notes on her homework
(scribbling out the graph and writing 'I don't need that!')

The paper says to explain your answer. Mikelle wrote "because huh (exasperated breath) I don't know how to explain it."

Mikelle's new year's resolutions.  The last one says "Hug my Dad more"

The homework says "Does Ari have enough money to buy a sticker that costs 50 cents?"  Mikelle wrote "No way hosay"

"It's all in the brain"

Tyrel drew this for Matt's and my anniversary. It's him with a hat on.

Jonah is sick, he build these two towers next to him to help him feel better (he said).

Jonah's fashion style.  He got changed out of pjs and put this on.
