Tyrel's Third Birthday Party

Tyrel's room toilet papered for his birthday (he loved it and won't let me take it down, it's still up)

We had his birthday party at my parent's house and he got ready and sat by the door for about 20 minutes just waiting for it to be time to go.

Tyrel is THREE!

Time has seemed to go by so fast with Tyrel.  He has all of the sudden grown up from a baby and become a big boy.  He is talking a ton, although he still has baby talk, but I love it.  He is potty trained. I'll brag a little and say he was potty trained before he was three, it took a couple weeks to get him completely trained, but it's so nice now.  He loves to help me around the house and play with his toys and outside.  He absolutely loves his bike and going to the park.  He loves swimming and is always asking to go to seven peaks.  He loves to wrestle and tease Mikelle and Jonah.  He is also very cuddly and gives me hugs and kisses a lot.  He likes to be a tough guys and 'prove how brave he is all the time, but he is also so sensitive sometimes, it makes me laugh.

First Day of School

This week was the first day of school for Mikelle and Jonah.  They were so excited and asked everyday when school was starting for the last couple weeks of summer.  Mikelle started first grade at Cascade Elementary, her teacher is Ms. Sanders.  First grade means going ALL DAY.  She goes from about 9-3:30 and it was harder for me than her.  She was SO excited to eat lunch at school.  Jonah started his second year at Learning Dynamics.  He is in the 4/5 year old class and Mrs. Ralls is his teacher.  He loves having Grandma working at his preschool too.  I think Ty is just loving the one-on-one attention he gets at home now again...until the baby comes that is.

Mikelle wrote a letter to the Disney Princesses, and they sent her this card back that they all signed.

Utah County Fair

My Mom, Rachel, Kayla and I and all the kids headed down to Spanish Fork to go to the Utah County Fair.  It seemed so small because I'm used to the huge fair in eastern Idaho that I used to go to with my Grandparents growing up, but this fair was actually perfect.  It was overcast so the sun wasn't beating down on us, there were not very many people there and the kids did a 'Reading for Rides' book report and each got to go on three rides for free (although that didn't stop Grandma from buying more tickets for extra rides and games). The kids loved the small animal petting farm and we all got to eat the delicious fair food for dinner.

Going on the rides.  Adults couldn't go on most of the rides for little kids, so we moms had to be brave and let them go on by themselves.

Mikelle loved playing little mommy to Oliver, but he still had a hard time at first.

The fair is very tiring though!
