Picture Update

So I'll just be honest here, I'm usually a little behind in keeping up with this family blog.  I can't remember exactly when these pictures were taken but let's just say 'recently'.

 Cuddling with my Ty

Just waiting for those cookies

Kayla was so nice and watched Ty and Kenzlee so I could go on Mikelle's field trip with her.  We went to the Museum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.

Saying good bye to Grandma Buttercup.  She lived with my parents for six months and is headed down to Arizona to live with Mary and Ron for six months and then she'll be back.  It's been so fun having her close by and the kids being able to get to know her.

Just hanging out.

Mercedes, Mike, and Zoey

I took some newborn pictures of Zoey.  They aren't professional by any means but I think they turned out cute.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

I love getting in the Christmas spirit and pulling out all the decorations and doing all the traditions but good thing it only comes once a year, it is so much work!  This was our first Christmas in our new house and we were all very excited about it.

The kids loved decorating and Kenzlee did pretty good with the tree this year.  Next year we should be golden and not have to worry about kids purposely trying to break ornaments or destroy the tree.
Some of our favorite traditions:
Decorating the tree (obviously)
Watching all Christmas movies (including but not limited to Charlie Brown, Grinch, Christmas Story (which my kids were very observant this year and learned the 'F' word form this movie), and Elf
Christmas Cookies
Temple Square or looking at lights somewhere

The tree looked nice in our old townhouse but in our new house with two story windows the tree looked pretty small.  We may have to invest in a bigger tree next year.

The stocking were hung..

I guess it's hard to see but I put quite a bit of time getting my Christmas village up there.

Thanksgiving 2014

I used my mad sewing skills to make this little outfit for Kenzlee.

Thanksgiving Day at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Kenzlee was really cooperating for this one.

Grandma Cheryl has a bow for every occasion and color for us.

November 2014

Multi-kid piggy back ride to bed...this will just get harder.

You can tell it's getting colder because instead of all the kids running around at the bus stop, they are all huddled together to stay warm.

Our first snow in the new house.

The golf course out back is a popular sledding spot and they wanted to try it out so bad.  There just wasn't enough snow and it was hilarious to watch them trying to make it down the hill.

Brush stuck in hair.  It's now happened to all the women in the family.

"It's a science experiment, Mom."  They are just mixing all beverages in the house to find the right combination.  The winner: Sprite and Orange Juice

I took this picture to try to remember this moment.  I love when she (and all the kids) cuddle like this when they are sleeping.
