We were all excited to have Grandpa fly in a couple days after Grandma and Rachel got in!
(had to take a 'hat' picture)
We used to live in Littleton before Castle Rock, and I LOVE Castle Rock, but there are lots of things I miss about Littleton, and Cornerstone Park is one of them. There is a big splash pad and huge sandbox there. The kids loved going there, I don't think they remembered it from when we lived there and Tyrel had never even been there.
Tyrel got the wettest, he loved it!
I got the picture right when he fell, poor little guy
Feeding the ducks (at Redstone Park in Highlands Ranch)
Rachel, my Dad, and the kids
At O'Brien Park in Parker (we went to the park a lot)
'Discussing' who should have the happy meal toy they found in the grass
Don't worry, they still love each other
Tyrel loved looking at the birds with Grandpa
At McDonalds, Tyrel is sad because they couldn't play in the play place. It smelled REALLY bad, so I climbed in it just to make sure everything was okay and my kids weren't sliding down in throw up or something, and I found a puddle of pee at the top (I'm positive it was), and who knows what else could have been in there because it really did smell horrible, so we didn't let them up.
Rachel and Mikelle
After the park and McDonalds, we wore them out.
Paper chef's hats
reading books
Of course she has to start everyday off with make-up and jewelry
I liked this picture of Rachel on the computer and Tyrel next to her with his book
Masking Tape Race Track made by Grandma (she got the idea from HERE)
Slumber Party - they look so comfortable (not)
My Manly Man
Stopped at Goodwill in Parker (a really good one actually if you're around there) and picked up some books. Everything in the store was 50% off that day; so we came back and had story time with Grandma
I wanted a wall mounted book shelf for the kids by their beds because they have been really into reading themselves to sleep lately.....so I waited till my dad got here and asked him to do it for me. Here he is, so busy. (he did SO much better than I could have done on my own!)
