Utah Vacation/Family Visit

Last weekend we made a quick trip to Utah for my Dad's 50th Birthday, little Oliver's blessing, General Conference, Sam Knowles's good bye party, Kneaders french toast, and just to visit with our family and friends of course. We were really excited to meet Oliver for the first time. We had a lot of fun and I wish we could have stayed longer and visited more and saw everyone we wanted too.

After we left Utah, Aaron, Kayla, Oliver, and Mark came back with us to Colorado to spend the week and visit some schools here. I would LOVE if they moved here! While they were here, our fun consisted of lots of milkshakes, a Nuggets game, Castle Rock Outlets, movie nights, scary stories, Dutch Apple Pie (which included some pretty awesome cooking commentary and how to demonstration provided by Aaron and Mark - I'm still waiting for the youtube cooking show by the way), BBQ, balloon animals, Phineas and Ferb and Ducktales (and I don't mean for the kids), Rocky Mountain Chocolate, several Walmart runs, Costco, some kid vs. Aaron and Mark wrestling, and trying to make the kids as dizzy as possible (I would like to add in that Kayla and I were not part of this), um, can I say lots of milkshakes again because we went through almost 3 GALLONS of ice cream in the 5 nights they were here. Am I forgetting anything, probably...what I'm trying to say is we had A LOT of fun and I really think they should move here.

Kayla and I tried to take some kid pictures one day (do you like my wrinkled white sheet wannabe backdrop). I think we got a pretty good one. Also, I think I need some camera classes because almost all the pictures I took (which weren't much, I wish I had taken more) were all blurry or dark, so sorry about that.
Do you know how hard it is to get 4 kids (age 5,3,1, and 3 months old) to cooperate???

Poor Mark grabbed some ice cream and all the kids surrounded him in seconds, he never had a chance. They are so lucky he is nice enough to share.
Kayla and I took all the kids to Chick-fil-a one night and it just happened to be family night there. There were games, free ice cream, and a lady making balloon animals for free. The kids got very attached to those balloon animals, and I tried to prep them that the balloons wouldn't last forever, they would probably pop in a few days, so when Mikelle was tucking her balloon animal into bed one night (she named her Starzy), she said "Goodnight Starzy, I know you will die in a few days, but I still love you."

Cute Little Oliver, isn't he precious

The kids think they are being very tricky when they sneak candy and then eat it outside
Mikelle and Jonah dressed up and came out and said "Look Mom, we are so cool now."
Then they got Tyrel involved.

what a fun week! That would be awesome for them to live closer to you. Love the kids in their "cool outfits" the first one Jonah is looking like elton john in his pink glasses, so funny!
