The BYU track team hosted an event called the BYU Triple Crown Race. Anyone elementary school age could register to run in the 1 mile race at the BYU track with the track team. Mikelle was so excited. She had a little bit of a rough time. She got a side ache but fortunately there was a really nice girl on the track team who held Mikelle's hand and told her she knew she could finish the race.
