Jonah is 5

Jonah turned 5 on July 23rd. Matt and I were just talking the other day about how is he such a little boy now. His big sister's girly influence is starting to wear off I think and he is really getting into boyish things like playing with balls and superheroes. He loves riding his bike and playing in the water, but he is also a homebody; he loves just being home too. Since he turned five, he wanted to really start eating healthier, so he has tried all sorts of new foods that he would never touch before. He ate a salad for dinner one night with tomatoes. He is also starting to get his own friends, he was usually just the third wheel when Mikelle's friends came over. It's really fun to see him interact with his friends. He loves to play with Matt when he gets home from work. They go in the playroom downstairs and play soccer and basketball and wrestle. Two new things: He stopped wearing pull-ups to bed at night and wears underwear all the time now; and we moved his bed downstairs so all kids have their own room (sort of, Jonah's bedroom is half his room and half the playroom). One thing Jonah does that is really funny/cute/annoying is that he sneaks candy or treats and sits under the table; I always know he is eating something he shouldn't when I see him sitting under the table. It's funny to me that he still does that because he would most likely get away with it if he just went in his room, or somewhere, but he always just goes under the table.
