Orem Fire Station Event

The Orem Fire Station had a really fun event going on this week. They had free cotton candy and popcorn, and pencils and fireman hats, ect. There was a propane tree demonstration where they had this HUGE HUGE fire and the firemen demonstrated how they put fires out. It seriously probably 2 stories high and so hot, even from how far away the audience was. Tyrel didn't really like it, I think it scared him, and Jonah was interested but when we saw some little fire torches at the Halloween cruise, he was freaking out saying that he didn't want them to get big like the other fire. Mikelle liked it though. You could spray the fireman hoses and we saw a helicopter take off, which was actually really cool and Tyrel LOVED it. He was talking about the helicopter all night. They also had a demonstration with wrecked cars where they took off the car doors using the jaws of life and other tools, and Mikelle turned around while they were doing it and said "Mom, are you seeing this!" It was cute. We had a fun time.

When we were walking back to our car, they did the propane tree fire demo thing again. We were about a block away when I took this picture, the fire was huge! They were also demoing the new water hose thing to put fires out that sprays off from the ladder.
