Our church did a huge stake dance with the theme 'Arabian Nights.' It was awesome. I have never seen any church activity decorated so detailed and beautiful. They probably spent more time decorating for that dance than it took time to decorate for my wedding reception. It was beautiful, (not to say my reception wasn't, it was also beautiful, thanks family!). There was a live band, dancing of course, and a yummy dinner. We also got to hang out with a bunch of our friends, in our new ward and from our old ward that was just split; AND no one had their kids with them. We had a babysitter for 4 hours to enjoy the dinner and dancing at the church. I tried to take some pictures of the decorated cultural hall, but I only had Matt's phone and it was dark and blurry and definitely didn't do it justice. None the less, we did get some pictures, and they were taking professional pictures (for free of course) that we had taken. It was a fun night, and I heard they do this annually, so I am already excited for next year.
