We went to the zoo the other day with Keith and the Ulrichs (friends from our ward). Despite the bitter cold weather, it was fun. We saw a pygmy marmoset there, which I've heard a lot about from my many times watching Diego, but I didn't realize how tiny and cute they are; they can fit around your finger. Matt surprisingly told me he would love for me to buy a couple of them and breed them for a job (with the extra several grand we have lying around, cause thats how much they cost). I {think} I would love doing that....too bad they are banned from Colorado, Utah, and any state we may think about living in one day. Here are the pictures of our day:
Me and Tyrel by the lions
Mikelle and Shaylee holding hands
Shaylee in the cave
Me and Rachel
The elephants
Not the best picture, but Mikelle kept imitating what the elephant was doing using her arm as the trunk and it was really cute, here's the picture Matt took of it.
Matt with the Christmas lights in the back
Mikelle giving Tyrel a kiss
Tyrel
A shrew
The Pygmy Marmoset
Another not so great picture, but one of the babies; Brooklyn and Tyrel
Mikelle
Jonah and Keith
It's funny to me how much whiter Jonah is than Keith, we are just pale people I guess
Mikelle and Shaylee on the sleigh
Mikelle with the polar bear
The polar bear kept putting his mouth up against the glass when Mikelle did, so we told her he was trying to give her a kiss
