Girls

Mikelle makes me laugh all the time. She has the attitude and emotions of a teenager; which makes me wonder if I'm getting a glimpse of what she will be like, or if it will be much worse. This morning I had several errands to run, so I told the kids we needed to start getting ready. Mikelle usually likes to pick out her own clothes; in fact, I am only allowed to pick out her clothes on Sunday because I told her she has to at least match for church. I asked her if she wanted me to get an outfit out for her and she said she wanted to pick it out and went into her closet. I then got myself ready, changed and feed Jonah and Tyrel, got them both dressed, got the diaper bag ready, got all the lists and papers ready for our errands, got all the shoes and sippy cups, and told Mikelle to come out and get her shoes on. All this took about 30 minutes. She came out of her room and was STILL in her pajamas. She proudly said "Mom, I picked out what I wanted to wear, but I'm still deciding on what underwear. Do you think I should wear Fancy Nancy or Tinkerbell?" What a funny girl. It takes her this long to make clothes decisions.

One more thing.

Mikelle told me she was hungry so I said "What do you want to eat, some vegetables?" (sort of joking) and she laughed at me and said "oh mom, vegetables, of course not."
