Updates...
- Matt finished his first year of law school, he took his LAST final this morning; and by last I literally mean it could be his last. He is deciding if he wants to go back or not. I am so proud of him for getting through the year and excited to see what the future holds.
- It finally feels like summer, in fact, I don't want it to get any hotter. It said it got to 90 today.
- They opened the swimming pool at our apartment so we will probably go there everyday.
- I am almost 6 months pregnant (okay, I am jumping the gun, 5 1/2 months this week).
- Mikelle has a new phrase she says ALL THE TIME: " I'm goin' slap you in the face". Example: "Mom, if you don't lay by me tonight, I'm goin' slap you in the face." I have no idea where she got that from, but Matt thinks it's hilarious so I guess it will just run its course hopefully since no punishment is being able to be carried out.
- My brother Aaron and his fiance Kayla got their engagement pictures Saturday; they also got pet turtles the size of quarters and so that is the new thing on my WANT list.
- And sorry, no updates for Jonah, he still just says "MMMMMAAAAA" for everything; but he does know where his fingers, toes, nose, ears, hair, eyes, mouth, teeth, and tummy are.

WOW!
Congrats to Matt! We are excited to see what you guys decide too. Also, I am extremely jealous of the your swimming pool. Miss you guys already.
congrats to first year, I have a niece Tori Anderson she is also going to law school in Utah and she finished her first year not easy but endured ..i enjoyed her many stories in the library about some chick eating Doritos. whatever you decide will be the right choice...
First year done! WAHOOO!!! The picture of Jonah in his towel is so cute! I do have to say Matt hasn't seen much sun lately has he? He is a bit white- too much time studying ;) I'm just as white, and I don't have a good excuse...
Except there is one big difference. I don't mind being white, because I am caucasian. I actually put sun screen on so I do not get tanned. To me, skin color does not matter. And because it does not matter I don't want to put myself at risk for skin cancer.
Funny, years back people who were dark were considered poor laborers. Or when black people were sad they were too dark we would say (well some would) "don't worry, your skin color doesn't matter." But now the opposite is happening. I am consistent, skin color really doesn't matter, ever. If someone is as black as black can be that is fine, if someone is as white as white can be that is fine also.
Sorry your comment got my rant, I have wanted to express that sentiment lately.
