All is post is really is a thank you to nursery. I have been talking to Mikelle about all the fun stuff we are doing this Easter. We went on a Easter egg hunt at the Wildlife Experience, and we are having a big Easter dinner tonight with some friends, and when Jonah wakes up, the Easter bunny will come, and then we are going to Utah....and as I was going over all these things with Mikelle, Matt said "Kylee, have you only been talking about the Easter bunny, or have you also been talking about what Easter is really about." I thought for a second and felt bad because honestly I had not mentioned Jesus to Mikelle. It had crossed my mind, but I kept putting it out thinking it was too complicated and 'not right now, probably tomorrow I would mention something about it'. Anyway, on the way home from church, Mikelle was showing me her picture she had drawn in nursery. It was a cutout of Jesus, and a cutout of the tomb. She said "Mommy, Jesus died, then he went in here (and she hid the Jesus paper doll behind the tomb) and then he came out and was alive!" I was amazed at what she had learned in nursery, and that it was possible to put it simply so even toddlers could understand. THANK YOU NURSERY TEACHERS!
*I do have all the pictures from dying Easter eggs, the hunt, and soon the dinner and easter bunny at our house coming to the blog soon!

Boston came away from the nursery lesson with "Jesus died, they wrapped him up and put him in there and he couldn't get out." PERIOD. We had a lovely long talk about the "happy" parts of the Easter story and the resurrection after church. I'm not sure if they didn't finish the story in nursery or if he only remembered that part. :)
We, our Primary presidency, were released yesterday. I will miss being with the kids sooo much. I nearly fell asleep in gospel doctrine class and wanted to run out of Relief Society screaming! It will pass, maybe. Being with kids is the best.
