We spent New Year's Eve in Rexburg and Rigby. We got to go up to Rexburg for a few hours for a baby shower for Kayla. It was fun to drive around and be all nostalgic. I wish it wasn't SO COLD so we could do more 'sight-seeing' and walk around and see the new BYU-Idaho center but it was closed. We did stop by my old apartment 'Royal Crest' and took a picture in front of my apartment door 207 because that is were Matt and I first met. After we left Rexburg, we went to the Barnes's (Kayla's family) house to celebrate New Year's Eve. We had tons of yummy food, played games, made jewelry and all the adults (except Matt, party pooper) stayed up till midnight to ring in the new year; even Grandma Buttercup. On new years day, we took the kids outside to see the Barnes's horses and have a tractor ride. The kids all loved the horses, especially Tyrel. Then we played some music on a set of 21 chimes that my dad made. Pretty fun holiday!
This one is actually from before we went to Idaho, just Rachel snuggling with the kids
This is Rachel and Taylor (a.k.a. Elder Ostler). Taylor used to be a missionary in our ward in Colorado and met Rachel randomly and very briefly when he happened to stop by one time when my family was visiting. He asked for her address and they wrote each other for the rest of his mission. He just got home after Christmas and this is them on their first date together.

For some reason, watching Mikelle help Kennedy sew made her seem so old to me.
