In other news, we had Mikelle's 3 year old check up and Jonah's 18 month check up today and they are doing well. The doctor was very happy that Jonah has gained some weight and moved up to the.....(drum roll)..... 10TH PERCENTILE!!!! (woot!woot!) Although I don't know how because he still only eats crackers or whatever he finds on the floor. And it is still funny to me that Mikelle and Jonah are 17 months apart, with 2 lbs. difference.

Never a dull moment...
...although I wish there were. Mikelle has been so good the last few days with potty training, and then today, she pooped in her pull up, and I guess she didn't want to tell me, because she went into her closet and pulled it off, getting poop all down her legs and feet. Then she wiped poop all over the other diapers (fortunately they were the ones we got from Costco that were still in plastic); and then on the carpet. I am sure I will see poop in other places as the day goes on. I am SOOOO grateful that I caught her pretty early because Jonah was not playing in poop yet, and she was still in the closet. *a funny thing about it though: I put her in the bathroom and told her to stand in the tub while I got all the poop cleaned so Jonah didn't get into it. I said "Go stand in the bathroom and don't move or touch anything, we have to sterilize you." She got really scared and said "Mommy, I don't want you to hurt me."

Jonah telling on Mikelle
Jonah has started 'telling' on Mikelle lately. He will come up to me and say 'uuhhh' and then point to wherever Mikelle is. So the other day, they were playing in the bedroom, and Jonah came out said "uuuhhhh"and pointed to the bedroom, so I got up and followed him, he looked back a couple times to make sure I was still following him, and then when we got to the bedroom closet, he looked at me and pointed to the closet and said "uuuhhh" again. It is really kind of cute, so I went back out with the camera and tried to get him to do it again, and he did, except that he didn't point this time, which is really the cutest part of it, but you get the idea. (and excuse the messy house, our house is only (if that) clean at night after the kids go to bed).
This is a video I found from Christmas vacation that I just thought was cute.

Okay, so a few weeks ago I told Matt that I was going to put a Valentines background up and he said that it was WAY to far ahead to even be thinking of that, but some of my friends have it, so I am too.
And just a small update, Jonah is doing a lot better. We made new goals for the new year, the only goals I have for the kids are to finish potty training Mikelle, and to get Jonah to sleep the whole night through (I KNOW). He still wakes up and so last night I made him cry it out. He cried for probably over an hour, and the only reasons I didn't get him were: I was way too tired, I shut his door and could barely hear him, and Matt was still up watching tv, so anytime I got up he said "don't get him". So Jonah went back to sleep but then woke up again at 4:30 and I just got him then and he slept with me on the couch. So, any suggestions: do you moms just let your kids cry it out all night and never get them till they just stop waking up eventually and sleep through?
And here is a random picture we took recently because I can't post without a picture.

What we came back to
We left Utah and came back to a day of 65 degree weather. It was awesome. We walked two miles to coldstone, and ate our ice cream outside, (too bad it only lasted a day.)
Mikelle started to get very scared of the dark ("gark") and have nightmares (she says) so we got her this Dora lamp at Walmart, she has slept in her bed since.

(taken by Cindy Vincent, THANKS!)
Sorry, I just had to add this one in, it's so funny
So, as usual, I am late getting out pictures, but hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. We had a lot of fun with our family and friends. This will be the longest slideshow in the history of blogs, but I promised out pictures to a bunch of people, so there they are:
