Mikelle is EIGHT

Mikelle is eight now, can't believe it's been eight years already.  She is just a sweet, kind, funny, girl to have around.  She loves to help with Kenzlee and she will quickly jump in and help me out with things around the house that need to be done.  She loves art and is very creative.  She has enjoyed writing short stories recently and has really loved ready and picking out new books to read at the library.  She is pretty active and likes to be outside playing with friends or riding her bike.  She likes to sing and be silly at home, but around a crowd she gets very shy.  She is pretty much done with toys now.  She is interested in clothes, shoes and make up now.  She is like a little pre-teen now at only eight!  She loves Friday Movie Night with the family, playing with her brothers and having picnics outside.  She really like music and dancing.  She did violin lessons for the last year and participated in two recitals and was pretty good but just decided to quit.  Here are her current favorites:

Movie:  Frozen and Tangled
Book: The Book of Mormon and The Jellybeans
Thing to Eat: Penne Rosa and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Drink:  Kool-aid and Water
Toy (or thing that you have):  Books
TV show: Sophia the First and Jessie
Thing to Do: Eat Cookies
Color: White
Dessert: Cookies
Song: A Child's Prayer and Party in the USA
Subject in School:  Reading and Math

Feburary

Cute brothers.
They only need a blanket, a movie, and some milk.

Her new fun game.

This one is slightly ridiculous, but cute.

A very early morning with Kenzlee

Church time.

Jonah likes to read to Ty

Ty and Kenzlee playing

Mikelle needed to bring a decorated box to school on Valentine's Day for her to collect her treats from the other kids.  We tried to pick something simple and quick.  She wanted a cat with real (faux) fur.  This ended up taking us (ME) hours! But she loves it...and it is pretty cute.

Kenzlee's Birthday Party

After the ice castles trip, we headed back home for some birthday party fun.
Here is Kenzlee opening up some presents...with lots of help.

She likes her Minnie Mouse airplane

It was Oliver's party too!

Yes, we do need this many pictures of her eating her cake.

The Ice Castles

We wanted to go to the Ice Castles (in Midway) and so we decided to make it a family outing and go for Kenzlee/Oliver's birthdays since they are only a few days apart from each other.  They are pretty awesome but unfortunately Kenzlee probably would have preferred a warmer activity.  It's the curse of the winter birthday I guess, I always wanted a swimming party and my birthday is in November.

On the way there, here is Bridal Vail Falls
