Kenzlee is 7 months

My little Kenzlee is seven months.  She is scooting all over the place, she gets up in crawling position and can crawl a little but she isn't too fast at it yet.  We had to baby proof the fireplace hearth because she is always crawling over to it and actually onto it to play with the fireplace handles.  As you can see from the pictures, she is a pro at sitting now.  She loves toys and will scoot to get whatever she wants.  Luckily she hasn't made her way over to discover the stairs yet, but we needing to put a gate up soon.

She loves to eat.  She loves all baby food.  She is my best eater. Her favorite is still sweet potato is seems, but she gives me no problem eating peas, carrots, squash, and of course the fruits.  She is a pretty spoiled baby.  I have made her cry herself to sleep a few nights, but she is still mostly nursed to sleep and then put in her crib.  I blame it on the fact that she is the last baby so I'm just sucking up all my baby time.

Kenzlee loves her brothers and sister and they can easily make her smile.  She likes to be apart of things and she wants to be held all the time.  I think she is also starting to know what "no" means.  (I tell her no when she bites me or is starting to pull of my baby proofing on the fireplace hearth.)

I like how she is just looking at Ty here.

Sitting on the doorstep like a big girl.

She didn't like the grass so she kept doing this, I thought it was cute.

This is her climbing on the fireplace, see how she pulls of the foam insulator I put around the hearth to protect her!

Jonah is SIX

Jonah is six now.  He is my cute, little, sensitive, caring, computer/xbox game loving boy.  He loves making his little sister Kenzlee smile and playing with friends, he really loves playing any kind of video game, he loves learning about animals and is always quoting random animal facts that he's learned from Wild Kratts.  He does like to play outside with the neighborhood kids that he's become good friends with, particularly Isaac.  They like to wrestle and catch bugs.  He loves playing in the water, he's gotten pretty brave about going down water slides and jumping off diving boards.  He also has started to really like legos.  He loves all the lego movies and video games.  He likes playing with his super hero action figures.  He is quite the perfectionist also.  He has his bed set up in a certain way with all the stuffed animals in their own certain spots.  He lines up his food before he eats it so it's all straight and he always pats his cereal down before you can put the milk on it.  He likes practicing ninja moves and climbing trees.  He always wakes up, makes his bed and gets dressed before he even comes up the stairs.  He can't sleep without a fan (which I can't really blame him because I love my fan too).

What's your favorite thing to do?  Play video games
What's your favorite color? Purple
What's your favorite food?  Cheerios and Apple Jacks
What's your favorite dinner?  Hotdogs on the grill
What's your favorite dessert?  Cake and Cupcakes
What's your favorite thing to do with your family?  Play games (board games)
What's your favorite toy?  My batman house
What do you want to be when you grow up?  A Dad, and go to work
What makes you happy? My Mom and Dad
What makes you sad?  When Mom gets mad at me
What's your favorite show to watch?  Lego Batman
What do you like to do at school?  Play with  the toys and learn

Pioneer Day in Idaho

My Grandma Della was able to figure out what's been behind her health problems (for the most part) and get on some medicine for it and so she has been feeling so much better lately and we all decided to go up for a visit since it had been so long.  We went up to pick up Rachel from BYU-Idaho and then stay with Grandma and Grandpa and we had a lot of fun. We were all able to go up for the visit, except for Mike because he had to work.

My Grandpa woke up and made us all a nice breakfast outside. The kids loved eating outside!

Playing with the squirrel trap.

We all went out to lunch.

Hanging out in the backyard.

Kenzlee with Grandpa Jack.

This picture makes me laugh.  It looks like Mikelle is a crazy person who is trying to choke her two brothers.

What could be better than drinking a can of soda in a the garden!

I love this picture of Kayla and Jonah laughing together.

We tried to take a family picture of our footprints in the dirt.

I didn't even know Matt took this picture, but I like Kenzlee just standing there smiling.

Putting together a puzzle

Mikelle took this picture while Jonah was making her smile, they were very proud of their work.

 Look who sits now!

Just trying to get some pictures of Kenzlee

Sometimes we get smiles, and sometimes, we get this...
